COPING WITH UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

Now and then we would definitely come across circumstances in our lives that we didn't bargain for. When we do, how do we cope?
   Truth be told, it is difficult getting over a bad experience, but not impossible. A woman once told me '' you can control the things you can, but live the thing you can't''. That word sank deep and made me realize that we can't control certain situations around us but we can control how we react to them.
 Facing an unfortunate circumstance is terrible and annoying, it makes one regret a lot of things. At that point, moving on seems so impossible.
   The harsh truth is that days like these would definitely come, but it is what makes us stronger. What I have learnt to live with when I face an unforeseen circumstance and I know would help everyone, is knowing that some situations can't be controlled. We can't control what comes sometimes, we don't have superpowers to do that. We are humans.
   Life is what we make of it. This means we can control how we handle it.
  Don't forget that the only way we can handle it well, is by letting God be our comforter.

DEEP BREATH part 1

          The sound of the gunshots woke me up from sleep. I heard little children screaming outside. I quickly put on a black t-shirt and a short lemon nicker. I ran outside and saw a death pool of catholic sisters and some children, blood flooded the whole environment. I ran to where the other children were and I saw them crying with blood stained hands and clothes. Tears filled my eyes but I couldn't cry because I knew it wasn't the time for emotions.
