THE DARK SIDE OF ME 3

'' This is the best idea to me, so don't ask me any further question. I am tired of all this puzzles. This is our chance to know the truth, what really happened'' Sarah said as she walked down an estate street with Michael. Both wearing blue jeans and t-shirts. Michael putting on a face cap answered '' I......I..... don......don't think go......goin.....g to her house w...I....I....I.... solve anything''.
Sarah looked at Michael with an expression on her face meaning that he should keep quiet and her decision to investigate was final. They finally got to the house and stopped. They stood in front of the duplex staring at it for a while. They could see police restriction signs everywhere. '' I...I don...'t thin..k this......is...a go...od idea'' Michael said as he stood and stared at the house.
Sarah walked further in, skilfully passing through the signs '' It may not look good, but we have to do it. This is the only way we can know about Miss Johnson's death'' she said. After successfully walking pass without causing an alarm, they got to the front door. '' Le....t us pass thr.....ough the ba...ck doo...r''  Michael said to Sarah. They carefully and quietly turned to the back of the house.
'' How do we get in now'' Sarah said, trying to figure out a way in. Michael went closer to the door and touched it and immediately it opened. '' Wow, it wasn't even locked. Good for us'' Sarah said told Michael smiling at him.
Inside the house, Sarah and Michael walked round looking for clues leading to their teacher's death. The house was really scattered and dusty. '' It seems like no one has been living here for years'' Sarah complained. Michael walked into the kitchen while Sarah walked upstairs. She gets into a room and noticed it was Miss Johnson's. She goes to the wardrobe and perceives the fragrance of Miss Johnson's favourite perfume. Sarah sat on the bed looking really sad and devastated about her teacher's death. '' Don't worry, Miss Johnson I will find who did this to you''. She stands up to leave the room. On her way out, she accidentally push somethings from a cupboard to the floor. '' Oh, what is wrong with me'' she said as she picked them up to avoid the police from suspecting anything thing. She sees a tape on the floor '' Seriously, this is a civilised time. What was Miss Johnson doing with a tape''.
'' S...a..rah the po...lice a..re here''  Michael said standing at the door way. Sarah quickly kept the tape in her pocket unknowingly and the both of them ran out of the house.
'' Thank God no one saw us'' Sarah said to Michael after running a distance. He a gave a conformation to show he agreed by nodding his head. They stood to look at the house again. They could see police everywhere, inspecting the environment. ''I don't like the fact that we were not able to get anything today, but it was worth the risk right?'' she asked Michael. ''We co...uld ha..ve go....t...ten caught'' he replied.

Principal Steward sat on the chair in his office, continuously hitting his hands against his desk, showing how tensed he was. He tried to figure out why the murderer killed Miss Johnson and who the killer could be. Still trying to decipher the puzzle, detective Marker and doctor Sam walked in.
'' Good day principal Steward'' doctor Sam said as she sat down. The principal put a fake smile on his face to welcome them both. '' I know you are still scared about everything, but right now you just have to be strong and calm down''. Doctor Sam stood up to close the door as she wanted to discuss something private with the principal. '' We found something that you would like to know. We were able get a  result for the fingerprints. One is for Gabriel while the other is not for Miss Johnson, it's for someone else. This means there is actually another killer on the loose. Call the parents if these children and tell them to bring their children back to school. Tell them everything is fine and stable now and call off the break. When they come, we would be able to get the killer. And don't worry, I know how to do that'' she said. The principal was really shocked when he heard the news, but after much convincing, he agreed to their terms. Still in the conversation, they heard a sound. It was the boy in the hood.

Cynthia sat on the couch in the sitting room watching the television and eating cereals, when her dad walked in. ''Daddy welcome home. How was your day?'' Her dad looked  at his daughter and smiled ''It was great. I am really tired now, I'll be downstairs in 30minutes'' He said as he walked upstairs.
      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'' Cynthia where are your siblings'' Mr Songe asked. ''They are in their rooms'' she replied. As Mr Songe walked towards the kitchen, his phone rang. He answered it and after a while on the phone he hung up. '' Daddy who was that and why are you looking that way'' Cynthia asked her father. He walked where Cynthia was and sat on the couch with her. '' Your principal called me and said you guys can resume next week, but I am not too settled about it. I mean after a student murders his teacher, my children can't go back there''. Cynthia moves closer to her dad and gently tapped his back '' Daddy you know we can't keep staying at home right? If the principal says it's fine, then it is. Don't worry about anything, we are fine''  she said to her dad as she smiled. Mr Songe looked at his daughter and smiled back, getting a little confidence that everything was alright.

'' It's really strange to be back here and in this class room'' Sarah said to faith. They all sat in class waiting for their new teacher. '' I know but we can't really do anything about this now. We just have to move on''. Everyone in the class still looked scared and tensed.
Sarah stood up to leave the class. As she was about to leave the class, Michael called to her attention. '' Where a.r..e   yyyyy.....you go....in....g'' Michael asked her. '' I am going to the restroom'' she replied as she walked out.
Sarah walked down the hall feeling really down as she was having memories of her teacher. Getting close to the restroom, she saw her principal talking to a woman and he looked really tensed. She decided to get closer and hear what they were talking about. She stood at the door where no one could see her, so she could listen to the conversation.
'' Principal steward this is the only way to get the killer still in this school'' doctor Sam said. When Sarah heard, she was shocked ''there is still a killer, how?'' she said to herself. Principal Steward stood up and walked towards the door. Immediately Sarah saw him coming towards her, she silently left there. '' If there is another killer on the loose, it means Miss Johnson wasn't killed by Gabriel alone. Oh no, this is bad'. Sarah said to herself as she walked inside the restroom.

She looks at him with blood stain on her hands ''Officer Lana, the officer I put in charge of the results is dead. She was stabbed to death just like Miss Johnson and the results are gone''.
Detective Marker angrily banged the desk ''no no no, this killer is obviously still out there. I need to talk to Gabriel again''.
                                                                                     *
''We did again, no more proof'' one of the guys said. The boy in the hood looked at them smiling, with the result paper and a knife in his hand. ''We ne...ed  to g....o af...ter the girl, s......he kn....ws t...oo.......much''.

DEEP BREATH part 1

The sound of the gunshots woke me up from sleep. I heard little children screaming outside. I quickly put on a black t-shirt and a short lemon nicker. I ran outside and saw a death pool of catholic sisters and some children, blood flooded the whole environment. I ran to where the other children were and I saw them crying with blood stained hands and clothes. Tears filled my eyes but I couldn't cry because I knew it wasn't the time for emotions. I closed the door of the room where they were hiding and told them to keep shut. All of a sudden, the whole place became really quiet, then I could hear their voices. I peeped through a small hole in the door and saw them with guns, cutlass and all sorts of arms. They walked through the dead bodies and made sure no one was alive by shooting them twice. There was no conscience in their eyes. There was no pity. At some point, I asked myself if they were humans, because I knew every human being ...
